I ride a Suzuki GZ250. It's not my first motorcycle but I have put more miles on it than any other motorcycle I have ridden. This blog will be a log of some of my experiences riding and maintaining this motorcycle.
When it's time to check your valve clearance be sure to replace the
inspection cap o-rings. These get hard eventually begin to leak oil.
The oil gets on the cylinder, runs to the left side when you park and
will slowly bake on. You can't see it very well while the GZ250 is on
its side stand. Once the oil gets baked on it is very difficult to
remove. Both of our GZ250's had this type of leak. I have seen photos of
other Suzuki motorcycles with the same engine that had the same oil
